An official Blackmagic Design online course held over three days that covers the basics of editing, visual effects, motion graphics, color correction, and audio so you can start creating your own professional films and videos immediately.
Who
This course is designed for aspiring post-production professionals and content creators. This course is perfect for tertiary students, fresh faces or working professionals who want to migrate from Premiere Pro or Final Cut over to DaVinci Resolve. After successful completion of the course, you will be ready to take the optional Blackmagic Design User Certification Exam at any time. No DaVinci Resolve knowledge is required prior to the course.

Where
This three day course is held online via Zoom. It's important that all attendees have access to DaVinci Resolve if they wish to follow along. All required training material is included and is sent to all attendees before the course begins.
Learning Objectives

Set up projects, import media and use metadata to speed up your work.

Mark selections and trim clips on the editing timeline.

Retime clips, add transitions, and pan and scan photos.

Create your own titles, work with title templates and add animation.

Apply primary and secondary colour corrections.

Match shots, use colour management and create looks over multiple clips.

Create windows, track objects, use curves and add Resolve FX.

Edit and mix audio using Fairlight audio tools.

Apply visual effects compositing techniques in Fusion.

Deliver projects and share them directly to YouTube and Vimeo.
