Who
This weekend course is designed for colourists, cinematographers, content creators and tertiary students who have a strong interest in colour grading. This course is designed to improve your colour grading workflow and the course will cater to different levels of grading experience. Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve's grading tools is not a requirement for this course. After successful completion of the course, you will be better prepared to take the Blackmagic Design User Certification Exam. Where
This two day course is held online via Zoom. It's important that all attendees have access to DaVinci Resolve if they wish to follow along. All required training material is included and will be sent to all attendees before the course begins.

Normalize and balance footage with primary grading tools and match shots for continuity

Use secondary grading tools to target specific elements

Learn advanced approaches to grade node order and structure

Migrate a project to DaVinci Resolve using an XML data interchange file

Practice different methods of grade management to develop an efficient workflow

Control the image with advanced keyframing, compositing, and noise-reduction techniques.

Grade entire segments of a timeline in one node tree using groups.

Explore raw media using the HDR grading palette.

Upgrade your project delivery with basic preset setups, custom renders and DCP workflows.
